First time went to car boot during vacation..and am LOVIN' it!

Carboot Datang Lagi!

Hehe carboot sales dah start since three weeks ago. Cuma tak sempat je nak update. But so far ktrg baru pegi carboot kt Marks Gate je every thursday. Carboot ni plg dkt dgn rumah weol. ;)
So lps hntr Zahin to school, ktrg terus pegi. Zahin cuma pesan belikan dia itu atau ini je. Biasanya dia mmg suro beli buku je. Actually, ktrg relax sket pegi without her sbb klu dia ada, cepat je dia ajk balik. Boring betul! Hehe.
Kt carboot ni, mcm2 ada! Dpd latest stuff smpila ke brg antik. New n used. Sellers are either private seller or trader. Tip: brg trader sll nya mahal. So ktrg mmg tak pandangla trader2 ni. ;p. Tapi klu ada brg yg perlu sgt, tpaksa la beli jgk hehe. Still murah lg la dpd kt store. ;)
Kalini, ummi suka cari house deco item je mcm wall painting, flower vase, lamp shades etc. Then, toys n books for kids.. Tapi tak byk kt Marks Gate ni. Novel pon ummi pandang sepi je, sbb tak de yg menarik. Hehe.
Tade yg menarik pon..habis jgk round satu carboot tu hokey. Besar! 3 jam konfem! :D jadi sblom pegi, kasi isi dulu perut n bawak bekal lg esp utk si kecik. Kt carboot adalah bbrp gerai mknn tp tak halal kot. So the best, bring our own food. :)
Ps. Rindu pegi carboot dgn Yus, kdg lps carboot ktrg picnic n bwk potluck.

Preloved Items

If we go to carboot usually we will look for toys and books first for the Eins. As most of items sold at carboot is preloved, the price is very cheap but yet the condition is still good. Sometimes there are just like a brand new. Omputih ni jenis pakai cermat dan sekejap je, patu jual kemudian beli lain yg lagi terbaru atau terkini. Kadang dia tanya anak dia nak jual berapa toys/books diorang tu. Lepas tu bayar je kt anak dia. Nak bargain pun sonang jo. hee.

Zahin was happy exploring her new leap pad (leap frog) learning system. Hihi she got all sunburn as yesterday has been the longest n hottest day so far.

Two leap pads learning system for two girls who still does not understand the concept of sharing. Fortunately, the seller had two which were similar. If not, i wont buy. ;P Btw, they came together wih 6 leap pad books, 6 catridges in a special bag.

If you were wondering of their price, it whole costs us only 4 pounds and 30 pence!! RM21.50 je, ok?? Macam tak percaya, kn? So why should we buy at the store while we could get the same one at carboot at very cheap price right? That's why we love carboot! hihi.

BTW my friend, Irra had long suggested me to sell online preloved items and it seems a pretty good idea but yet i'm just not ready. I have enough on my plate with 3 kids tapi kalau nak seribu daya ye tak..hee. Memang minat biz2 online ni tp tengoklah dulu macam mana...ramai je yg dah buat preloved sales ni kn. Persaingan yg sihat gitu..:P Apapun, i need to think deeply abt it. Bkn senang nak senang kn? :)

DUNTON CAR BOOT SALES

Oh! we love to go to car boot sales (cbs) ^_^ Just love the ambience and happy buying cheap plus still in good conditioned preloved branded stuffs which being offered there! Some new and original stuffs are being sold there too but of course with an expensive price! ;)

Thus last two weeks, Yus and Hadzley told us Dunton cbs will be opened on that weekend, we were ecstatic and so looked forward to go there! Dunton is out of London and it takes 40 minutes driving from here in Stratford. Wow, finally we thought that will be our golden chance to see the countryside. =)

When the day arrived, we departed from our house around 10a.m. It's already late actually because at first we were contemplating whether we wanted to go or not as Iris had caught fever already. But we decided to go though after seeing her active condition. :D

So when we arrived there, it's already past 11am and we were not charged for any admission fee. If we came before 11am, we just had to pay 20pence per head. Cheap, only 20p! ;) and kids as usual were free of charged. :)

huwaa penatnya menapak sampai ke kereta. so kita posing dulu! hihi. well, that's our car vauxhall astra. Dulu kt Coventry pun beli kereta mcm ni jgk. senang sbb dah tau performance baik, minyak save. tp Zahin selalu complaint kereta babah ni buruk. hihi bertuah, kan?. macam la kt Msia dulu naik keta best sgt..padahal Gen2 je pun. ;p

We didn't get what we were looking for. so we didn't really spent that day. But we went to the same cbs on the following weekend (last sunday). this time we went a lil bit early, we paid for admission fee but we were satisfied that we got what we needed to buy. So hopefully, i still have another chance to go to Dunton cbs again this sunday since baby's head is not even engaged yet. hehe.
