Snowgirl Returns

Assalamualaikum

This is the continuation from my Winter Wonderland entry. The next day, we just stayed at home as hubby had a mission to build a snowgirl. Again? Yes...though i discouraged him because it's was tiring job hehe. You can read the first snowgirl he built last year here.

As usual, i just volunteered myself to be a camerawomen, not too keen to join mr. hubby and kids since i already caught with cough, cold and fever, for being in cold at the park the day before. it was still cold though the snow already stopped falling that day. I had also warned my kids especially the Eins just to stay inside but kids, they rather be outside. Hmm..the next day was when Iris caught Athma..:(

Anyway, hubby took few hours to build the snowgirl. The Eins and lil Zafri helped him a bit here and there. As for me, sometime i snapped their pictures from inside and sometimes i went outside for a while..only for a while..because i can't stand the coldness for too long. And tried my kids to come inside but to no avail.

So now Enjoy the pictures taken at our backyard. ;)

Hubby managed to measure the thickness of the snow. It was thicker than last year but it started to melt really quickly..the temperature rose quite abruptly!

Look at them, they were happy and ready as early morning to play with the snow. First i reminded hubby to scoop some virgin snow to be made as ABC. he really did it for me. Hehehehe...

Hahaha really make me happy to look at all the pictures above!! Ummi really love you all so much, very funny. up at this point, just a small hill ready. That's when hubby put lil Zafri sitting on it. It Reminds him when he's at Zafri's age, he did the same when he's in US when my father in law pursued his PhD. :)

Taraaaa...snowgirl was done! they made other version too. :P The Eins were happy but when hubby called me out to take a family photo, Zahin already tired hence the made face..hehehe..that's the only one family photo we took..i believe if we take more, Zahin will not still cooperate..:D

hehehe lil Zafri took back his sunglass from the snowman...;D and time to go inside and makan ABC! ^^

ABC di perantauan yang tak cukup bahan. :P tp okla, ada sweetcorn, syrup and susu cair. hehe. 

We had fun especially the kids. Credit to my darling hubby. Good job, darling! :)) Hubby was also satisfied though he had backache afterwards..Kesian babah..Babah kata, apa sajalah untuk anak-anak dia. So sweet! We love you always, Babah! =)

P.S It ain't easy to build a snowman ok..only a skillful person can make it! ;)

Winter Wonderland 2013

Assalamualaikum

I know i'm pretty late to update this. But better late than never, right?

Well, the heavy snow finally hit us on 21st January. It showered the whole day and piled up on the ground and the next day we had a winter wonderland! Walla!

It was heavier than last year, more than 10cm! So as usual, we already planned to go to the park if there's snow and we already bought the sledges for the Eins several months earlier..so we kinda excited to try snow-sledging. :D

So since the car was refused to start, we walked to South Park though it was snowing that time. I was a little bit worried since Zahin already claimed that her legs were cold but hubby insisted on going so off we went.

As soon as we arrived at the park, we found that we were not alone. Others were already playing snow and posing here and there happily.

The park looked gorgeous and loved to see all the trees which covered with the snowflakes. Subhanallah, really enjoyed the view!

And the most important thing, the eins managed to sledge! they totally had fun! Both hubby and me were tired pulling them on the sledges..but there's nothing than to see their glowing faces. :)

Actually, Zafri's sleeping in the buggy most of the time there but we woke him up at the end. he's not in the mood to play with snow so he cried when we put him down on snow. hehe.

all in all, we totally had fun and glad that we went there...alhamdulillah for this precious and beautiful moment..Hopefully, that was not the last snow experience for us..Amin!

Winter Wonderland 2012

Hi!

When snow started falling, we were actually at a friends's house for another Yassin recitation feast. After solat maghrib, reciting Yassin, continuing with Isya' prayer and scrumptious dinner, all of us went out to play and pose in the snowy night! hehe. The kids were also enjoyed their friend's company therefore both of them were at their best behavior. :) Unluckily, i forgot to bring our cammy so don't have any photos there! :(

Anyway we had to leave as early as we could as the snow was getting down heavier to avoid from getting strandeds. :P But as soon as we arrived at home, hubby brought down the cammy and quickly set up the tripod in front of our house. hehe. Let alone the freezing cold or the neighbors! Jakun ok! Lol.

Alhamdulillah, we managed to take several photos and again the kids were still in the best mood while lil Zafri were deep in slumber. :P He couldnt careless what happened around him that night. :D Btw, It's his first experience to encounter with snow but as i said he was sleeping through the photoshoot session in either hubby or my arms. Huhu mcm nk patah pinggang lepas posing tuh. Haha.

The next morning, we were so amazed and delighted to see our backyard covered by the thick blanket of snow. Subhanallah, What a view! terus lg cantik nmpk backyard ktrg. :P Anyway, we had our breakfast first before hubby quickly made a snowgirl for the girls. Zahin requested a snowgirl instead of a snowman!! And she even demanded that the snowgirl must be as tall as her baby brother!! kemain demand taw..! hehehe..Luckily, hubby is so understanding so he was more than willing to build one. AND he really did a great job because he had successfully made one! A cute snowgirl completed with eyes, nose, hands, pinky muffles and hairband!! Hip2 hoorey! Cayalah Babah. ;) So again, without wasting time we had a photoshoot again but this time with the cute snowgirl! ;)

Later after lunch and Asr prayer, we went to Hainault Forest Country Park which was 2miles away from our house for snow sledging. On the way there, the view of the countryside really took our breath away! Subhanallah, it's like the ocean of snow. It's all white everywhere. Masya Allah. When we reached the country park, again we were dumbfounded to see the ocean of people there!! Macam pesta sudahhh...hahahaha. All of us were in the same boats! Jakun jgk kot ...Lol!

BTW, It was pretty dangerous as all the visitors had to park at the main roadside since we could not go into the snowy park with our car and the road was slippery as it was covered with snow. Licin, ada van nak anta brg dlm cafe kt park tu siap tyre tenggelam dlm snow lg..i'd almost slipped myself as well. huhu And hubby quicky asked me to pass lil Zafri to him to be carfried and i just hold my girls's hands walking them to the park. Anyhow, Zahin couldnt stand the cold any longer so we had to find the nearest spot for us to accomplish our mission! And i'm happy to say that we got to sledge on the snow by using handmade sledge though we didnt manage to walk further up to the hill.

That's it. The snow melted the next day. The snowgirl tumbled on the ground on yesterday. Today, there are still got some snow left on the ground. ;) Alhamdulillah we were still given a chance to play with snow this year. We had a blast and we felt blessed. Hopefully it will not be the last. The BBC weather forecast predicts that the snow will fall again as soon as this coming weekend! Hopefully it will not go as bad as in the Eastern Europe. Ukraine's temp dropped as low as minus 36! Many people had died. Kt sini -5deg pon dh tak thn whoaa..huhu..Smg Allah melindungi kami daripada segala bencana yg tdk diingini. Amin!!
