Boxing Day 2013 ;-)

Happy new year 2014, everyone! Feel so alived and so blessed today, alhamdulillah ^^

As i promised yesterday, i wanna update about our boxing day. ;)

We went to Swindon Designer Outlet for the first time with our friends. It's 2 hours drive from London so we had stayed one night at Travelodge Swindon Central. (Creepy place, taubat tak nak stay situ lg huhu).

The kids were so happy this time to have their bffs accompany..so mommies had a pleasant time shopping but not daddies! Lol

Anyway, hubby and i didn't find anything best there..:( Just bought Sketchers shoes for kiddos..that's all!

Most of the catch from the pics (Clarks shoes, Tefal, Ted Baker and perfumes) i bought was purposely for my online biz. Really good bargain! For more info, please kindly visit my fb page D' Eins Boutique ;D

Lastly, I wish you all a good health, happiness and success in 2014! Amin! And hopefully may all of us become a better person and remind ourselves that Akhirah and Jannah is our ultimate goal. In shaa Allah..!!

Bicester Village Again

Assalamualaikum

Actually, we were not planning to go to Bicester Village until our guests requested us to go couple days ago. Anyway, it was my pleasure! haha. So we went there after school around 3.30pm..

We arrived at the famous chic outlet at 5pm, after 1 hour and half driving. All the way there Zahin was crying, frustrating that she cannot sit beside me. Hmm zahin, zahin..big jealousy there. :D

We arrived there at 5pm, still had 2 hours before it close. I really hope it enough for kak Fauziah to do shopping. For us, we didn't buy much, just a new sling bag for me, a chidren baking set for iris and a pencil colour set for Zahin at Cath Kidston. :D

It was freezing cold, very hard for the kids. So hubby stayed with Zahin and Zafri in the van while Iris accompanied me window shopping. I managed to enter Burberry, Kate Spade and Tods only..Tods because kak Fauziah happened to be in there ..otherwise i will not there to go into the boutique. :P

Anyway kak Fauziah bought two handbags at Tods and Prada, purses and wallets at Michael Kors and Ted Baker for her daughters, husband and son..glad that she was satisfied with the shopping because i was worried if two hours were not enough. hehe.

After shopping, kak Fauziah wanted to take photo with us..and then asked hubby to find any halal restaurant nearby as she wanted to treat all of us dinner for taking her and her son to Bicester Village. Aww, so generous of her. :)

Then we finally found Halal indian restaurant at Oxford city center and had a very lovely dinner with Chicken and Lamb biryani, fish fingers and fries for the kids, other side dishes that i don't remember their name. Zafri was a little bit cranky by that time in the restaurant. He threw things, he cried for me, refused to sit in the baby chair. He wanted to sit on my lap..

i think he was restless and awkward to be seated afar from me between hubby and Hamza, kak fauziah's son. hihi..nak buat macam mana Zafri, Along and Angah dah berebut nak duduk sebelah ummi dulu..:)

Anyway, we had fun. After thanking kak Fauziah, we went home. :)

REUNION

Assalamualaikum

My good friend since secondary school came visiting me few days ago for Christmas break. It has been years since we met last time. When i know Lilie got studying in York, i was excited and have always wished to meet up soon. Alhamdulillah we finally met. She came by train and we fetched her at King's Cross station. We were so happy to see each other and we chatted in the car like no body business. Zahin also annoyed with us, she said we were too loud. :D

Lilie was excited to see the Malay food at Malaysian Hall. But  honestly they were not as good as they look..and  as usual,  they're not cheap as well. huhu.

Afterwards, we took Lilie to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Yup, again for us huhu. And still it's not a suitable time to go. It's on Sunday and it's freaking crowded! We can't stay any longer. But i managed to find the magical ice rink in the middle of the Winter Wonderland. It's decorated beautifully with all the hanging bulb lights but that's all. My girls also did not asked to play any rides so we dismissed quite early than i had expected. Hihi.

 On the next day, i had a day out with Lilie. We felt like a school girl again hihi. Reminiscing our old days during our train and tube journey to Central London. Haha! Mind you that was my first time flee after two years. Well, it's not easy to escape from my kids ok. Hubby had to take them out to the Community library first, only then we walked off  to Seven Kings station. :)(Thanks Sayang! ^^) 

just arrived at the most crowded street in London,  it's Oxford Street babeh!

 at first i planned to bring Lilie to Harrod's but when i checked the stops in the train (Tube), i saw the Oxford Circus station just two stops away from Holborn station, the station that we should stop and change train to take Piccadilly line if we want to go to Harrod's. Since it's already one way, so we did not stop. We went straight to Oxford Circus station to go to Oxford Street. since it was a Christmas Eve, the street was even more crowded. Honestly, i felt so nervous to be a tourist guide and i was lost in the crowd not knowing which way to go. Huhu. Luckily, there was a signboard and a map therefore it saved my life! What do you expect, that was my first time going to Oxford Street! huhu shamed on me...dah dua tahun dok kt London baru ni sampai Oxford Street. T_T Nak buat macam mana, it's a bit tedious to go with kids and buggies in such a crowded place..that's why we kept postponing it until the right times come. :D

Nice decoration at House of Fraser. HoF sales dia best giler but not everything on sale though! :( Lilie beli perfume, i beli handbag utk customer..

haha first time masuk Selfridge. Mmg selfridge, dah masuk rasa tak nak keluar sbb waa cantik sgt. Wakakaka! Selfridges hampeh sale dia still mahal....Grrrrr! sabo je la. So window shopping aje la...;P

On the way home, we took Distict line instead of Central Line because hubby had told us to stop at Dagenham East. Kak Yaya and Aswat invited us over to their place for a dinner. Aww, so nice of them. Rupanya hubby took kids to their house to play with their kids. Hubby told me, my kids were at the best behaviour. Enjoy main with friends, distracted habis sampai tak ingat ummi langsung. Dengan Zafri, Zafri skali ok. Sabo je la..ummi all the time ingat ok ke tak diorang ni. Siap beli present lg sorang satu kt Disney Store kt Oxford Street tu. Upah..takut balik rumah sume pakat merajuk dgn ummi at least adalah hadiah nk divert to kan. Hehehe..

Reunion Maahad Muar SPM Batch 1998 with Sarah n Bro Din. hubby excluded sbb dia sekolah lain..kekeke...

 During Christmas day, we all went to Southampton to visit our friend Sarah. Her husband was also in the same school with Lilie and me. So we knew him quite well too. Thanks Sarah for a lovely dinner and hospitality. Unexpectedly, we sleptover at their place that night because our car had a problem. The engine oil leaked badly until our car released smoked on the way to Soton. Sampai bau hangit ok..bahaya...so tak berani lah ktrg nak balik ke London malam tu jgk...dah la Chrismas hari cuti, kalau anything happened on the motorway sape nak tolong kan..huhu..aihh tu dah unexpected cost..lari budget nak berboxing day esoknya. Wakaka! Ni citer dalam entry lain la eh..Hehe..

Us after so many rounds of yummilicious breakkie before off to'boxing'. ada Mee bandung lagi..hmm..Tqvm Sarah! ^^

 Finally, it was time to bid a goodbye. Lilie's ticket on 27th of December and at the same station, King's Cross station. Station ni ada Platform magic Harry Potter's movie, Platform 9 and 3/4. Hehe tak perasan pon sebelum ni..Masa mertua dtg Summer haritu kami pergi Edinburgh naik kt King's Cross. Kalau tau boleh posing kt platform HP ni. Tade rezeki derg..:)

Zahin je ikut ummi hantar aunty Lilie smpi kt dalam..Babah tunggu dlm kereta because  kt situ tak boleh parking lama2..lagipun Iris dan Zafri tgh tidur.

Shopping at Designer Brand Outlet

Cheshire Oak Outlet (COO) is one of the designer brand outlets in the UK. It is located at Cheshire district in Chester. It was quite famous as it is the largest outlet in this country. There are more than hundreds of boutiques such as Clarks, Gap, Timberland, Next, Mark and Spencer, Reebok, Levi's, Lee Cooper, and just to name a few..Oh Burberry, L.K Bennette, Mulberry, Polo Ralph Laurens, Tommy Hillfiger, Calvin Klein Jeans too! You can go here. Seriously, it was like a shopping paradise to me because almost everything is cheap! Believe me, you can't never get enough and can spend hours there..until they close! :D

The first time we went to COO was during Boxing Day 2006 and the second time was last year, during my parents visit. We took them there as we were on our way to Scotland on our UK roadtrip! (will try to update it one by one ;)) Like us, my parents really enjoyed shopping there too compare to Bicester Village (BV) before. ;P Anyway, though last year we went in May, but most of the boutiques got at least 50% discount! some even got 70% discount! so heaven i tell you..hehe. The first boutique which my parents went in was of course la Clarks! Clarks is originally from UK so logically it was much much cheaper compare Clarks in Malaysia. Most Malaysian if they came here, they will surely find Clarks! :)

Anyway, i have been to few other outlets besides COO the oned at Ashford, Freeport and Livingston but i still like Cheshire Oak Outlet more! And it's also already near to Manchester and Liverpool which have many tourist attractions uol..so your journey will be worth it..not only shopping but also can go sightseeing which i love to do most! ;) hehehe..Oh yea, next time want to try Swindon Outlet plak! Heee.

Bicester Village Again

Salam!

It's been 14 days we are fasting in this holy month of Ramadhan. Time flies so fast indeed. Sobs. So far in London, we did it pretty good, alhamdulillah! Just hoping that time can move slowly now..how i wish Ramadhan can stay longer..

Anyway, i'm sure everyone of us have already started shopping for Raya especially the ones who are in Malaysia. Hehe how i miss the shopping scene in Malaysia..

For us here, we just shopped a little and actually we already started shopping earlier before fasting when Summer sales started that day. Hee.

But as a lady, we cant help shopping, can we? Hehe. So on last monday, i asked my friend, Yati if she wanted to go to Mothercare retail shop since her family happened at our house for Breaking fast. And as expected, she said why not! Hehe well ladies..!

Unfortunately, when we arrived there we knew there was no more extravaganze sales. Only few items that were on discounts. So we didnt shop all out there. Yet, Yati and me still bought few things as we were already there. Dont want to return home with empty-handed la rite..;p

Actually, Yati finished shopping earlier than me so her family left for home first as they had other appointment. Iris and Adam were sad to be separated and both refused to salam each other hehe. Iris also made her sad face til uncle Fathullah cant help to take her pic with the sad facial expression! Lol

As for me, i seemed not satisfied yet with shopping thingy hehe. So i asked hubby if we can go to Bicester Village right on that time. Being the sweetest husband, hubby had agreed right away! Hehe love you darling! Muah2. :D

So off we went to BV at 3pm. The traffic was slow at Wembley due to Olympic events at the Wembley stadium. But anyhow, we passed it and we reached BV around 5pm. Luckily, it's summer now so most of the outlets still opened until 8pm. ;)

Since i already made up my mind, so i thot i would go only to the specific outlet which was Cath Kidston. Boy, how i wronged, coz on the way to CK i went into other outlets! Lol.

Only when i realized that i dont have much time left, i dashed to CK without glancing to any other outlet! ;p

Hoho i was kinda jaw-dropping the moment i stepped into CK. haha almost evrything's on sale! It's hard for me to decide which ones i wanna buy! Huhu so i spent quite a lengthy time in there.

Hmm all of the items were irresistible! They're english style looking stuffs! Aww How i wish to buy then all..hehehe. but i had pretty good time to choose the best bags and finally i was very satisfied with my catch! But Well, it's not really mine though..Huhu.

Sorry no pictures for the catch here at the moment. I will upload once i'm ready. and i also cant wait to introduce my online business soon which i'd already mentioned here few months back. Hehe need long time and long process to make it really happen eh..hmm..

Party Fiesta

While we were hunting for Iris's present  for her 3rd Bday at Westfield Stratford City, we suddenly tumbled upon this shop called Party Fiesta. With the star shaped entrance, it is not too hard to be visibled at least to me. Hee I can't help to go inside and to see what it has in there. 

Since that was the first time i visit a party shop, i kinda crazy looking at all the variety choice of party stuffs. Seriously I felt like buying all of them. They got variety themes from Mickey Mouse to Smurfs. So cute! Too bad i cant spend at any since Iris wanted hers to be a princess theme. So what i bought were just a princess table cloth, a princess tiara and yummilicious lollipops. ;) 

I definitely want to visit it again. The price is affordable and the location is strategic plus it is in the same floor with Mothercare, Lego City, Primark, food court (kfc, mcD, halal subway etc) and to name a few. 

Eventually, we just bought a set of four story books from Disney princess for our bday girl. But, we had a plan to treat her something else since she could not read yet. But what was it, i'll update in the next post. Insya Allah.

Boxing Day 2011

Venue: Cheshire Oak Outlets

Date: 26th December 2011

We had overnight at travelodge nearby at East Wirral. The distance between the travelodge and the outlets are only 4miles. That morning the traffic was clear so we only took less than 10minutes to arrive. Sampai2 pukul 9.50a.m. Most boutiques pon tak bukak lg. Parking pon masih banyak so hubby terus parkimg depan Clarks. Sebelah Clarks, Karen Millen. ;)

We met many other Malaysian who already wait in front of Clarks's. Pukul 6.am lg derg dah sampai. Pergh..! Sempatlah berkenal-kenalan. Tengok2 akak tu fr University of Lancaster. Rupanya kawan pd kakak senior kt UIA yg kebetulan satu tempat keje dgn hubby, kak Ruzy. What a really small world! Very small la sampai hubby pon terjumpa x-classmate dia masa kt SMAP Kajang. Siap satu travelodge lg! hehe. Dah 10thn tak jumpa alih2 jumpa kt situ. Nasib dh siap2 exchange contact no.s sbb kt COO tak terserempak langsung dgn dia, tp kawan dia kami jumpa. :D

As soon as the SA of Clarks opened the doors, sume org berpusu-pusu masuk inc. us. Tp for me agak kecewa sbb offer nya tak byk turun. Lg murah masa sy beli kt Clarks Factory Outlet di London aritu. Maka terus sy tawar hati nak beli, ingatkan nak beli boot. Just carikan kasut untuk kawan tp tu pon tade yang macam dia nak. Huhu. As you can see in the picture above, act. hubby was looking for  working shoe. Nak kaler hitam. He also had a hard time searching for the right one. Last2 hubby pon tak beli.

Adik Zafri, satu2nya Orang yg dapat Clark shoes aritu. ^_^

Angah Iris ni demam2 pon masih sporting lg ikut pegi shopping. Good girl.

While hubby inside Clarks, i took an opportunity to go to other boutiques. And one of the boutiques was Mamas & Papas (tingat Ninie shopping aritu ;)) so yg ikut ummi ialah Along Zahin n adik Zafri. Masa ni Zafri dh rimas duduk dlm carseat Maxi Cosi dia jd nak ta na ummi kenelah dukung dia. huhuhu. Along Zahin tolong tolak stroller adik. Along memang dah banyak boleh harap sekarang. Good girl too. ;)

Along Zahin posing depan playground. Ummi ambil kesempatan nursing adik Zafri masa ni. Adik Zafri nangis2 lapar. So tak jadi shopping kt Mamas n Papas td, letak je balik brg2 yg dah di ambil. Mencabar shopping dgn baby ni..tp sbb ank ketiga jadi ala bisa tegal biasa. ;)

Since Along Zahin was very helpful, i brought her into this jigsaw puzzle world shop. Ingatkan nak belikan dia puzzle Angry bird macam Faaz punye. ;) Unluckily, they got no stock at all. Frust sungguh. Tapi cik kak ni dah aim Disney puzzle. "Ummi Zahin nak puzzle princess.." Dah namanya pon gurgals, balik2 princess stuff jgk yg dia berkenan. :) Beli 2, satu untuk Iris. tp tak dapat gambar yg sama..sbb itu je yg tgl. Ish puzzle pon laku mcm pisang goreng hokey. so as expected, berebut jgk. Maka berlakulah drama air mata di depan kedai puzzle tu..hehehe. Tp senang je pujuk Iris, dia cpt beralah..so sekejap je la drama air mata tu. ;)

Since masing2 dh dpt habuan, jadi ummi pon boleh shopping dlm keadaan tenang. hehehe. so dapatlah 'menangkap' di GAP. Beli baju kids je.

Lepas tu jalan2 jumpa L.K Bennett. Ummi pon singgah survey2 harga. Not bad sebenanrnya. Ada yg mampu dibeli tp disebabkan awal lg dan tak habis survey lg harga handbags di butik2 lain esp Burberry :P jadi ummi tak beli pape kt L.K.Bennette. Psst, jmp Malaysian kt sini, sy nk masuk, dia nk keluar (tgn kosong) sy senyum dia boleh buat dek je..Okla fine la..may be dia tgh period kot so dia tak de mood kot nak borak or senyum. (bersangka baik :P) My 2-cents, walau kaya/tinggi education level macam mana pon, if you don;t have any courtesy value, to me you actually is nothing. Kalau takut/segan sgt nk greet/bg salam at least u smile when u acknowledge someone. lebih2 lagi kalau dia tu satu negara, satu agama dan satu kaum dgn kita . :)

SA kata kene tunggu, butik sudah penuh..huhuhu. Ramai lg Msian dll yg senasib dgn sy waktu tu. Jd kami sempat berkenalan sambil beratur depan Burberry. Well tak sume orang macam org yg dkt L.K Bennette tu kan ;)

Ni hubby ambil gambar. Nampak tak kt belakang tu org ramai dpn pintu Burberry..salah sorg tu ummi derg ni la..tp tak nmpk terlindung di belakang mat saleh. Maklumla ummi derang kan rendang aje org nya. hiks.

Peace from Iris. Sporting tunggu ummi shopping kt dlm Burberry. Babah pon sporting jg dh bg greenlight. Tapi tak beli ponnn. Huhu. Sebab masih mahal lg bg sy. hehe. Tapi tak pe la, be positive! Kalau ada rezeki nanti boleh beli. insya Allah ada lg masa and tu pon kalau panjang umur sy. Tatau la kenapa sy minat sgt dgn Burberry. But one of the reason, it's local high end brand. British. I adore Burberry. Pattern dia pon simple je tp elegan n still klu dipakai look young kot berbanding high end brand like LV or Hermes..just to name a few..Tp Gucci er i ada minat jgk..selain LongChamps. *wink* Rasa i ni suka sbb simple je kot handbags fr those brands..Ish make up your mind, or else kumpul duit maa baru boleh beli Burberry, Gucci or LC. hahaha.

Inside Cadbury's World. Borong coklat  n cadbury's instant choc drink powder.  Jauh lg murah la dpd Tesco, Asda ect.

Ok ni plak masa sy shopping dlm Next. Fyi Next pon berbaloi beli. in term of quality. my kids punye apparels fr Next sgt tahan lasak dn boleh dipakai turun temurun. susah nak memeri compare to GAP's apparel. I spent too much time in here. Masa ni hubby n kids dah tunggu dlm van je. Actually ktrg berenti kejap utk makan n smyg. So lps makn n smyg jamak Zuhur n Asar tu, only me je yg pegi shopping kt Next. Sadly, dia punye net dh habis..nmpk sgt ramai dlm next. So sy shopping tade bakul huhu. sakit sgt tangan n bahu main sangkut je kt mana yg boleh. Anyway, kt Next ni sgt best sbb sy jmp kasut utk hubby. hehe. Pastu kt Men's dept tu ternampak plak coat. Teringat yg hubby mmg nak beli coat n pant satu suit. Tapi hubby kt van lak..klu tak beli skrg bila lg kan..sbb tgh boxing day ni la nak beli..sbb mmg murah. sy pon tawakkal je pilih saiz utk hubby. Org2 lelaki mcm pelik je tgk sy shopping kt bhgn derg. sorg2 lak tu...segan i tp demi hubby i buat muka seposen je la. hehe. for me plak, i dpt boot yg i bkenan. 12ppound je after less. ;) few blouses too. and bju2 utk kids n ank kawan yg mengirim. :) Lepas bayar, pegi kt van mintak hubby try siap2 coat n kasut dia..Alhamdulillah ,they fit well with him n he likes esp the coat. Maklumla taste hubby ni bley thn jg tinggi..tp  taste wife dia ni  lg tinggi..so okla kn. wakaka.

Hmm smpi malam shopping. gmbr ni lepas beli pinggan. Kakak2 Msian yg jmp sume kata murah jd dy pon turut terjebak. hehe. Portmeirion ni mmg terkenal la. Sebelom ni sy tak penah dgr atau amik tau pon..Smpi sini je baru dgr..rupanya punyela hot stuff and famous Portmeirion ni. Katanya t Msia, ada jual tp tk byk sbb mahal. Sebiji pinggan katanya beribu2. Pffftttt...Jd kakak2 tu kata jgn lepaskan peluang, tanya hubby, hubby kata pegila beli sedozen dulu..sbb mmg tak terpk dan tak allocate lgsg budget utk Portmeirion. hehe. Aihh tapi takde rezeki sy nak beli sedozen sbb pattern yg sy nak tu tak cukup stok..huhu dh habisssss..Tp tak pe lah, lain kali boleh belli tambah koleksi..;)

Murah sgt. Lps beli sy tanya2 pd kakak2 kt sini..memang murah la so tade la rugi kami beli kan?;)
Actually bukan kisah sgt pon nak beli pinggan2, tp selalu sy kena attack balik. Even mak long sy pon pesan, nti iwan kt UK jgn lupe beli pinggan2 mangkuk dr sana tau. Hmm bila dah masuk sy plak rambang mata dan rasa nk borong je sume. Cantik2 Uol. Gerammsss. yg penting lain dpd yg lain. hehe.

Shopping sampai malam. Tp baru pukul 6pm. Kt London, kawan2 kami ada yg shopping kt Oxford St smpi tgh malam. Memang tabik spring aah. Kami yg beranak kecil ni mmg tak sanggup nak bboxing day kt Oxford St..Mmg la better bargains but i dont think we can handle the kids in such crowds. Otw balik ke London, ami dgr berita ada sorg pelancong di tikam kt Oxford St that day..Ish nauzubillah. Kt Cheshire Oak ni raaaaaamaii jgk tp aman damai aje. No stress, no pressure! Tp tetap ada angan2 nk bboxing day kt Oxford St jgk nti..ye la dh duduk London kan, nak la jgk merasa shopping dan suasana masa boxing day kt Oxford St tu. Ngeee.

Lastly, ni je la hasil tangkapan boxing day kami. hehe. Ukur baju di badan sendiri la kan..tapi tetap bersyukur sgt. Baik ada dpd tiada langsung. Rupanya hubby sempat shoppingour anniversary present kt Timberland. On last 24th Dec, ws our 6th wedding anniversary, Nti la update dlm next post!;)
