Open House and In Laws Arrival

Salam

We attended kak Zaitul and Ana's open house after went to the embassy. Sorry, i already forgot the menu (i just remember, Lemang! :P) and i do not take the picture of the scrumptious food on the table...sorry..! :( At that time, only my body was there but my mind was off wandering and keep thinking about my dissertation. huhu haru hokey..but i promise i have so many other pictures when we were at their house. heheh :P

Also this year, my in laws came to celebrate Eid with us. They were FIL, MIL, SIL, her husband and daughter and BIL. All of them had safely arrived on the eve of second raya. Alhamdulillah, we were so happy and thankful to have them here after more than a year not seeing each other. My MIL also kindly cooked us Nasi Dagang, Laksa and Laksam!! Over more than a year, we havent eat  it! So mama's more than willing to cook for her anak menantu and cucu2 :D Though, just arrived but mama still had energy to cook all that for the next day during our open house. Thank you so much, mama! ;)

So enjoy the pics!

Eid at Malaysia Embassy in London.

Before Syawal leaving us, i would like to share some of our pics during the first of Syawal for the sake of a memory. This year, we went to High Commissioner of Malaysia Embassy in the Central London for Eidul Fitr prayer with friends but we did not go to Malaysia House for the Eid Feast. May be we will go next year insyaAllah but overall, our first of Syawal this year will surely be remembered as another memorable Eid for us in London. :)

Enjoy the pics!

me in the car was boring donno what to do because of the traffic jam, it took us almost 2 hrs to arrive!
and this lil boy of mine was also even managed to recharge his energy in the two hrs journey back to East London.
Alhamdulillah, our first Syawal had partly done and we were glad we joined our friend to celebrate Eid at Malaysia Embassy. We definitely want to go again next year insyaAllah. :)

And the rest of the day was filled with going to our friends's open house and welcoming our first guests from Bristol which i will share in the next post. So stay tuned! ;D

About to End

Salam

My Master journey is about to end soon. It is sad but of course i'm rather glad that it is almost over. ;D it has taken a toll on me and my family but anyhow we had survived!

I've submitted the dissertation yesterday. It was finally completed at very last minute but i managed to hand it in at ACE helpdesk before 4pm after sent it to Turnitin (Plagiarism software), printing 80 pages of dissertation, burning it into two CDs and binding it at the printing shop. Alhamdulillah..:)

Actually, the prototype had been done before Eid, sv had approved it after some changes been done here and there. During Eid, the writing was going on on and off in between joining open house and going holiday with family in law. ;) So i finally finished writing all the chapters last friday and emailed it to sv. While nervously waiting sv to review and reply, i continued writing the abstract, conclusion, doing reference and formatting. Only on Monday morning, i managed to submit the final whole draft of the dissertation.

I was damn worried waiting my sv to reply. Anyway, he had replied when i checked email around 3am on 11th of September. huhu it was quite a number of comments i received from him :P but luckily it was only on theoretical parts..the editorial, the addition of latest references and some changes here and there, it was only finally finished by 11 o'clock on 12th of September!!! Yesss, the submission day. Only Allah knew how nervous i was that time but anyway i did it! that matters. hehehe

Honestly I couldnt believe i wrote about 12200 words! Before that i dont think i can even get up to 10000 while the required words were supposed to be 11000! ;) Hopefully, i will pass my master dissertation. InsyaAllah! For the time being i can relax for a while before start preparing and ready for Viva which was postponed to 2nd of October instead of 17th of September. So now i need to check my wishlist to decide what to do first after being 'fasting' to do it once i started study. hehe (Kdrama perhaps? Wink)

Last but not least, i would like to thank my beloved family and friends for praying for me. I really appreciate! I really am :) AND i would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the love of my life, hubby who always being there for me. Who has always supported me throughout this journey. For his patience, love and sacrifice. All the time. Without him, i dont think i can ever finish my dissertation on time. For all these while he has been my companion, motivator, second supervisor and private tutor who had experienced it before ( i know i'm very lucky ;)) whereas my sv and i just communicated through emails (just one meeting) in the past three months due to limited access to uel because of olympic. Besides helping me with my study, hubby constantly helped with domestic and babysitting too. isnt he wonderful? :))

So thank you so much, Darling! Love you more and always!! May Allah always bestow upon you with His blessings and may He grant you a good health, strength and patience to carry out steadfastly your PhD research..amin amin aminnn..!

Alhamdulillah, Iris was such a good girl. Nurse and doc sume puji kata dialah the best patient on that day. Hehehe..
