Nasi Kandar Line Clear

Assalamualaikum

Ok hari ini nak share cerita pasal JJCM kami di Penang that day. :)

Actually, tak berapa expert bab food hunting ni. Masa di UK dulu tak pernah pon beriya nak food hunting. Asal jumpa kedai atau restaurant halal  terus on je..;D

Tapi bila balik Malaysia aka syurga makanan ni yang mempunyai more halalan toyyiba choice maka food hunting wajiblah dalam list! ^_^

So bila je sebut Penang, instantly teringat nasi kandar, char kuey tiaw dan pasembor. Tu diaaa..hehehe. 

Kami pilih nasi kandar line clear ni sebabnya memang one of the top nasi kandar in Penang kan. Senang je nak cari address, just search at maps google terus keluar. Apalagi kami pon follow je la google maps.

Alhamdulillah sampai juga akhirnya walaupon jalan sesak sepanjang dari Batu Feringgi ke Georgetown.

Lepas parking kereta di private car park in that area pastu kami jalan kaki dalam 5 minit dah sampai. Tapi hati-hati ye, lintas jalan kt situ kalau bawa anak sebab banyak kereta. Pastu jangan lupa beli kupon parking! En husband beli di kedai 7e dekat2 car park tu jugak. ;)

Bila dah jumpa kedai Nasi Kandar Line Clear masing-masing macam tak percaya tengok venue nya. Ingatkan dalam bangunan sekali bukan! Hehehe. It is located between two shop lots! Tapi orang beratur masa tu punyalah panjang!! Huhu pasrah je la beratur sama. :D

Tapi tak lama lepas tu staff depa panggil pelanggan yang beranak kecil dulu masuk ke dalam. Kira macam fast lane gitu ha.. Alhamdulillah..!!

Oleh kerana dah lapar dan malas nak fikir panjang, kami terima je lauk-lauk yang direkemenkan waiter yang in charge kami. :D

kami order 2 set di mana setiap set include lauk kari kepala ikan, ayam goreng rempah, sotong dan udang berlada serta sayur kobis goreng. Air rasanya 2 jenis..satu jug besar air sirap limau dan lagi satu air barli kot..lupa sudah. Hee.

Once nasi kandar dan segala lauk sampai ke meja, kami pon makan macam ikan piranha. Hehehe tak la...makan dengan gembiranyam.. sebab memang thorbaekkk!! Tengoklah gambar 2 beranak kt atas tu..;D

Maka semua makan tanpa toleh kanan dan kiri lagi. Licin semua lauk..alhamdulillah tiada pembaziran. Anak-anak pon enjoy nasi kandar. First time rasanya my kids makan nasi kandar ni hehe..

No wonder Nasi Kandar Line Clear ni begitu famous..walaupon lokasinya agak tersorok, crowded tapi berbaloi. Harganya pon berpatutan! Rasanya nanti depa nak buka cawangan di Kg Baru, KL! ;)

Lastly, kami sangat berpuas hati dengan makanannya yang sedap dan servisnya yang mantop! :)

Anak saudara mengamuk pon ada staff kindly approched us and tried consoling him by offering him some finger food.. So Highly recommended! :)

Langkawi Hot Spring

Assalamualaikum

Good Friday everyone..we are almost at the end of Ramadan and today is the last Friday in this holy month. How we wished every month is Ramadan, right. What a blessing month it is...Nevertheless, let's pray so we could meet Ramadan again next year, in shaa Allah...amin!

It's very hot here in London with 28 degrees Celsius! I have got migrain haha..but i simply love the weather. It reminds us with Malaysia. It didn't stop us to go out and about and we also got Breakfast invitation at a friend's house at Dagenham but I will share about it later.

Today i would like to continue on our family vacation during our short return to Malaysia that day. :)

After visiting Perdana Galleria which i already shared in the previous post, we went lunch at Kedai Kak Nah first..( now forgot the location but i think org Langkawi sure know this shop ;))

After feasting our tummy with the delicious authentic Malay dishes like Asam Pedas ikan jenahak, ayam masak kicap, sayur kampung, ayam goreng, ikan goreng, sayur ulam with sambal belacan and two jugs of air sirap limau...(just writing all of them here makes me mouth-watering! :P) we quickly found our way heading to Langkawi Hot Spring.

For your information, the day we flew to Langkawi was only the second day we arrived in Malaysia. Basically, we were still jet-lagged on the third day but i think we had pushed ourselves to enjoy the trip as best as we can. Cuma Babah je yang tak boleh tahan mengantuk hehe. So my brother took over driving  job most of the time while Babah's sleeping at the co-driver seat. 

He even doze off while waiting our turn to dip our feet at Langkawi Hot Spring! (in the pic above :D)

While waiting for our turn, my brother and I went looking around the place. Actually the place has a beautiful landscape but i had just wondering why the lake was full with floating weeds..? i think it will look nicer without those thingy. :D

There were few shops selling souvenirs as well as a cafe near entrance. As soon as we arrived, my mom kene pau bubble-blower dengan cucu-cucunya kt situ. Hehe.

Hmm price wise,  the souvenirs are quite expensive here. But mind you the admission fee is free here, so do not miss to come this place if you are in Langkawi! ;)

For your information, it is natural salt water hot spring not a common fresh hot spring which is rare. 

When it's our turn, we went towards the hut nearby and took position before dipping our feet in the hot spring well. Whoaa, it felt so good as the water was warm AND clean! 

Our hut was not the big one but it's very nice. The hot-spring well was under it. It's shady though we could still feel the heat and it's privacy. If you are coming in a big group like my family, you do not have to share the hut with strangers. :) 

We just sat and talked and laughed during the session except my dearie hubby who was asleep while dipping his feet in the well! :D

Suddenly, we had a chance to go to the bigger hut after other visitors left. Again there were not many visitors came as it's on Monday.

The bigger hut is located at a bit higher level of ground. You would need to climb few steps of stairs to reach it. The seat design is special as we could lean our body this time..so more relaxing while dipping feet in the warm water.

But the well looks deeper than the first one so you need to be extra careful especially if you bring children..;)

All in all, we truly enjoyed ourselves at Langkawi Hot-spring. Feeling healthier and refreshing after the session. :D

Apart from the lake, we highly recommend the place! Cantik, best dan lengkap dengan musolla, sauna and jacuzzi, bathroom and toilet. Massage service pon ada. Such a good place for spending a quality time with family. :)

Cuti-Cuti Malaysia: Langkawi (Part 1)

Assalamualaikum

I am so blessed and thankful to have a very loving family, wonderful parents and siblings as well wonderful husband and children..i feel so lucky. I really hope our happiness and strong bonding and relationship will be lasting forever till Jannah. Amin. 

This Langkawi trip was fully sponsored by my family and siblings. So generous of them..! ;) So i just knew the rough budget. The homestay and rented Avanza if i'm not mistaken is less than 1K for 5days and 4 nights. The return flight tix for my small family was RM550 with Malindo Air.. my parents and siblings flew with fire Fly which i didnt know how much it costs. But i heard it's also cheaper as they already booked it almost a year :D

Overall, the homestay, the rented car and the flight were pleasant experience. The owner of the homestay and the car name En. Roslan. Sorry i don't have his details since my siblings made all the arrangement. :)

For Malindo Air, though it's still new airline but has offered a good service and hospitality. Cuma bab delay flight tu je kene improve. :)

Anyway, Langkawi was not too sultry hot during our stay there. It was drizzling on and off but we who just came back from the UK really appreciated it since it made the temperature goes down a bit and we felt cooler after the rain. 

Since this is our third time being in Langkawi, so we didnt go for island hopping this time. Plus we didnt think it's a good idea especially for my brother and wife who has a 3 months old son. I still had a phobia after our island hopping experience in 2007 so i won''t recommend. :D

So, the first main attraction that we visit was Galleria Perdana. it was Sunday, we didn't know that the admission was free. Rezeki sungguh! padahal dah ready nak bayar..:D

Galleria Perdana Langkawi

The location was easy to find. It has ample parking lots. Only the place was deserted that day. I could even count the visitors! hehe. Nevertheless, we enjoyed roaming inside the building with less crowds. :D

 All of us were extremely proud and happy as soon as we noticed the huge portrait of our beloved fourth prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir b. Mohammad. We quickly took picture with 'him'. Tak jumpa alive, dapat gambar pon jadilah kan..hihi.

Seriously the interior design of Galleria Perdana is so impeccable. It was perfect dedication place for the very honourable person such Tun Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir. He's a very reputable and respectable prime minister, known almost across the world. Kt UK, whenever people knew we're from Malaysia, mesti diorang akan sebut nama Tun Mahathir..even he's no longer our prime minister. How proud is that..so Malaysia is so proud of him..hence, the Galleria Perdana is built. ;)

 There were so many things to see and to read from Tun M's early years becoming our prime minister to the end of his years. Photos were on almost every wall be it portraits of Tun M with his beloved wife, Tun M with other prime ministers from all over the world or artistic paintings. It made me feel So touching looking at all of the photos especially the ones when Tun M with his beloved wife Tun Dr. Siti Asmah. They both are such an ideal and strong pair and always looking so romantic and loving togerther. :)

Terlalu banyak hadiah istimewa dan unik yang telah diterima oleh Tun M sepanjang beliau menjadi PM kita including antique cars and Formula 1 car!! So all of them are being kept safely and nicely in this galleria. Geram juga tengok perhiasanperhiasan daripada batu Jade yang diberikan oleh negara China dan many more. So sorry i couldn't share many pics here..i can;t bear with the internet speed here in Malaysia..bchinta nak upload gambar! in the UK we used to have minimum from 20Mb-40Mb at our home..but here only 1Mb--4Mb only?? Cmon...Sigh

(Can anyone do something about this? Please..if not susah nak jdi negara maju..daripada sibuk berusaha nak bida jadi tuan rumah world cup 2032 ke bila ntah (Msia football world ranking no. 160++ kott, so hentikanlerrr) baiklah usahakan//invest in providing ultra high speed internet, lagiiiii bagus kan! ;))

Overall, galleria ni ada banyak section and more than 1 tingkat..ada wheelchair/stroller access...senang. So don;t worry if you bring old folks or small babies..;) air cond pon ada, nyaman je dalam tu..men/ladies and souvenier shop and cafe pon ada, lengkap, memang best dan tak rugi datang visit. :)

Kalau weekdays, kene caj admission. Ahad je free...so plan wisely..:P
