Big Boy!

Assalamualaikum

Our little boy is not little anymore...He already turned 4 years old on 12th April last week. Well actually we already had a small celebration at my mom's place. But too bad, the pictures were taken all blurry..huhu

I feel bad about it thats why i wish to redo it again and properly inshaa Allah :)

Time flew so fast! I still vividly remembered the day he was born 4 years ago in London. I had emergency ceasarean but to cut it short, it's such a meaningful experience for me. And it's priceless to have a son, such a precious gift for me, hubby and daughters who had longed for a baby boy :)

Now, we are so blessed to have him around. He is very cheeky, quite funny, smart and talkative. Also notti! SATU HARI KALAU TAK MENYAKAT Along and Angah TAK SAH! My life is so hectic and handfull with three of them!! But merrier of course hihi :D

Alhamdulillah, up to date he's recovering quite well from high fever. So far we gave medicines on time BUT Since he seldom gets sick comparing to her sisters, so it's quite difficult for him to take up the medicine..huhu sabar je laa!

Lastly, Happy belated birthday, Zafri! Be a good boy, ok Sayang! May you grow healthy, wisely and successfully in this world and the hereafter. Ameen! There are so many hopes i put on you (and your sisters too) in shaa Allah but we must try our best and as best as we can..Ameen..

Happy Birthday Iris! :)

Assalamualaikum

On last 16th February, my little princess Iris has turned 6 years old. :)

A week before her birthday, we went back to Sungai Buloh. Her cousin Syira already planned to throw her a small birthday party, so Syira aka the party planner did everything. Thank you dear! Xoxo

We wished everyone were there. All uncles, aunties and cousins but that's okay maybe next time..in shaa Allah. ;)

Also credit to Chik and Mamatok for the birthday cake and the food and beverages. All the pizzas and tacos finished just in the blink of eye! Lain kali buat lagi eh Chik hehehe. Thank you so much!! Xoxo

Happy 6th birthday, Princess Iris ^_^

As usual being a 'Cucu Tok Mak', this little girl also requested to celebrate again her birthday with her beloved Tok Mak. So on the eve of her birthday, we shoot back to Muar. Mummy just bought a Marble cheese cake at Fung Seng cake shop, thats all. :D

Also we wished Pak Ngah and Pokde's family were there too but they didn;t come back on that week as they planned to 'balik kampung' during Chinese New Year holiday. :)

Anyway, we were glad that the cake was yummy and the birthday girl was very happy. Janji Tok Mak ada. hehe Sorry no pic of Tok Mak and the rest since we were 'malas n panas' to cover aurah. hihi :P

Since returning from London, so far she has not been attacked with Athma yet here. So we have gradually stopped her steroid medicine taking too and seems that she could cope without it. Doctor also advised us the same because afterall the medicine cannot be simply prescribed. 

So most probably, my daughters who are the ones who couldn't stand the extreme cold weather in the UK especially in Winter. Hehe..

Lastly, Babah, Mummy, Along and Adik Zafri will always love you Iris and be there for you no matter what and all the time, in shaa Allah. Happy Birthday Zahin!

Assalamualaikum

Alhamdulillah, today is along Zahin's big day. She turns 8 years old already..what a big girl! ^_^ Since mommy and babah had things come up today, we didn't go celebrate. After all it's on a weekday and along Zahin has to go to school.

Talking about school, yes along Zahin already got a place at a new school, Mayville Primary School.  ;) Alhamdulillah again. She just started last monday. I wish you have a lovely time though it might only be until November.

Anyway, when mommy asked whether she want to celebrate her birthday with her new friends or not, she quickly say no and said she didn't want to tell it's her birthday today. But mommy knows actually she's still shy. Hihi.

Along Zahin was in her new uniform on her first day at Mayville Primary School. Angah amik aura dulu ye..:D

Along Zahin and adik Zafri at the playground just nearby the school. Along Zahin good at consoling her baby brother now..hopefully, she will be a good sister forever..amin!

Actually, we've already celebrated along Zahin's birthday as earlier as last saturday..hihi. Coincidently, a friend also wanted to celebrate her daughter's birthday as well..so we joined together..so it's a double celebration.. Yeay! ^_^

Since it was kinda adhoc for us, we just went to Cake Box to buy a birthday cake. That means we didn't get a chance to customized the cake. 

But luckily, there was a Frozen cake left and after gave some thinking i decided to buy it anyway..because the lil sister, Iris really insisted to buy the Frozen cake for her big sister's birthday..she almost made a scene at the cake shop..haih sabo je la hihi..

The birthday girls, Zahin and Nuha. Nuha turned 4 years old last saturday. Happy birthday you two! May Allah bless you always! amin..:)

Tadaaaa, Elsa and Anna Frozen cake. Not only it's 'Frozen' but it was yummilicious!! Credit to angah Iris, thank you dear, such a nice and sweet sister you are..as you wanted to give the best for your Along. :))

As a die hard fan of My Little Pony, along Zahin just asked for this for her birthday gift. RAINBOW DASH!! hihi along, along...you already had the smaller one before.  How i wished you should have asked something else you know but anyway, it's your birthday, so you can pick anything that you wish. ;)

As always, Mommy, Babah, Angah and Adik love you so much, along Zahin though you're not as easy to handle (manja sgt) hihi. We will always be praying for you every second and every breath wherever you are.. Be a good and solehah girl, k..in shaa Allah. 

Last but not least, may you grow wisely, beautifully (esp on akhlak ;)) and successfully in this world and hereafter. We shall try our best to shower you with all the best, love and happiness and guide you to the right path..in shaa Allah. May Allah bless you always, my dear! Mmuahhh. :)

Happy Birthday To Me :)

Assalamualaikum

I have turned 32 years old couple days ago (240613), Alhamdulillah..been greatful for the past 32 years and another day in my life. Hopefully, i can be a good servant to Allah, the Creator. I'm trying my best to be always a better wife, mother and daughter. In shaa Allah..

So yesterday, mr. Babah and kids had showered me with extra love, hugs and kisses. Besides the lovely birthday cards and best wishes they took me out to Westfield Stratford City to buy me a present. ;) And later went to Asda to buy a yummy chocolate cake and then dined in at Tinseltown for small celebration. ^^

 I was so happy and blessed! I really appreciate everything that my husband and kids have done for my big day. they're so sweet and they're always are!! I was so touched ok..feeling so much loved and luckiest! Hihi Alhamdulillah!! May Allah bless them and reward them the best, amin! :)

So Thank you so much Sayang, Zahin, Iris and Zafri for everything that you have done and given to me! I loveeeee you all so much!! Xoxo. You all are the best that happen in my life, the loves of my life and my whole world! :)

Les Miserables: My First Musical Theatre

Assalamualaikum

London is very synonym with theatres. And Londoners always like to go to theatres as well as tourists. Being a temporary Londoners, I have also wished to watch a theatre at least once. ;P But being a parents we never had a chance until recently. 

I guess it's my luck when my UEL junior had suddenly asked me to go with her. Of course I was over the moon! ^^

Since it was me who really yearned to go to theatre so hubby quickly gave a green light and was willing to take over in taking care kids after he came back from uni. Thank you Darling! I took this as my pre-birthday treat, ok! heheh.

My junior, Iman wanted to watch Les Miserables ( pronounced as La Misera ;)) Honestly, i have no idea what 's the story about, just happened to know it through tv ad. :D 

Anyway, at first i was being sceptical afraid if the ticket's price was expensive. Obviously, i didn't want to spend ridiculously on it. :P But Iman convinced me that it was only 20 pounds. So relieved me! tho the price came with the very restricted view but we didn't mind! hihi. Iman said from the review, the view from the seat was not bad so it's good to know that. ;)

So Iman took care of everything. She bought the tickets online, hence the ticket was under her name as in the pic above. ;) 

The theatre started at 7:30pm at Queens Theatre, one of the oldest and established theatres in London. It's situated at Shaftesbury Ave, London. Again i didn't know where it was. So it was on Iman again and we departed together from my house two hours early. 

We took train at Seven Kings station before taking tube at Stratford station heading to Westbound. Firstly, we had to change tube at Holborn station before heading to Piccadilly Circus. It was 5:30 so the train and tube was fullhouse! We were hardly got seated almost in that 1 hour journey! huhu 

Upon our arrival at Piccadilly Circus, it was crowded at Piccadilly square with police everywhere. Apparently, there was Anti-Capitalism Demonstration but it was all under controlled. Luckily, nothing bad happened. 

After collecting our tickets at Queens theatre, never i knew i would bump into celebrity. :P It was Marion Caunter, babeh! I knew she was in London since i followed her instagram but i didn't expect that i would meet her here. Hahaha. 

Anyway, she was so prettay! And so nice and friendly when we approached her. Here was the dialogue

Me: Hi, you're Marion Caunter, right?

MC: Yes, i am!! (silly me, of course she was :P)

Me: Can we take a pic with you?

MC: Of course, come, come! Are you guys study here? (asking me and Iman)

and so on..:D and she even asked her mom to take our pictures! (Oh, thanks aunty! ;)) Her mom in law was just watching while her husband went inside maybe to collect their tickets. Then we left her who bid us goodbyes cheerfully. Very sweet of her!

Since it was still early, Iman took me to Patisserie shop nearby. We had a yummy eclairs roll and ice lemon tea hoping it was enough to keep our tummy quiet during three ours theatre. Huhu yup,  it's three hours. And apparently, Les Miserables was happened to be the world's longest running musical theatre ever! ;)

Actually, when we arrived back at the theatre, the doors were already closed. :P The theatre patrons kindly took us to the waiting room, where there were other latecomers as well..There was a LCD screen so we watched there at first and it was when Iman's friend, Rasika joined us, just before we were taken inside the theatre in between the scenes..

The lights were already off Inside and luckily we were guided by the patrons otherwise i think i could be stumbled on the steep stairs. Again fortunately, our seats were the first three rows so we didn't disturb anyone in the same row but some people in the row behind..:P but not much as the other scene didn't started yet at that time ;)

As soon as we settled down, I enjoyed everything. ;)

Les Miserables was about a French Revolutionist, Jean Valjean who had escaped himself from a conviction. Then he became a Mayor in Paris and was willing to take care of a prostitute's daughter whom was isolated by family and friends. 

Before that the little girl named cosette was taken care cruelly by a poor, drunken and bad couple who also had a daughter named Eponine. They even made the mayor paid them high in order to take Cosette away from them. Very bad couple! :(

But the girls, Cosette and Eponine were happened to be good friends. When both had grown up, they suddenly fell in love with the same boy. huhu It's a triangle love! But the boy, Craig loves Cosette more. so two of them were in so much dilemma not to hurt Eponine's feeling until Eponine finally died in a war. And then only, Craig managed to get married with Cosette. 

It's so heart-wrenching but with happy ending! I almost cried! Hee. 

at the end, all the audiences were madly clapping and standing since the lights were back on during one by one of the casts coming out to give a bow at us audience until the last main cast who played as Jean Valjean came out, AND he got the biggest claps ever from the audiences . (smpi lenguh den berdiri ..:P)

Overall,  It was the best performance i have ever seen in my life tho it was the first theatre i went. hihi. The live musical led by London orchestra band was superb! All the cast actors and actresses were incredible, so did their singing voices. Stunning and amazing! I even had a goosebumps uols :P And of course the on-stage setting/backdropes of each scene were all awesome! Thumbs-up to them! and i really highly recommend to those who wants to watch theatre, Les Miserables Musical Theatre is the one! so worth it. 

Afterwards, Iman, Rasiika and me walked to SOHO area for food-hunting. It's already 10:30pm and we're starving!! :P So Iman suggested us a Thai restaurant, TukTuk where the food they serve is always in big portion. Upon hearing that all of us were in! :P Iman and I ordered a seafood kuey teow goreng while Rasiika had ordered a Phad Tai, looked like a kuew teow ladna to me. ;)

 We quickly had it gone and when my tummy is happy, i'm a happy mommy! ;P

On the way back to Piccadilly Circus, i managed to see some London night-life. :P We only took some pictures before taking tube heading back to Eastbound. and hubby waited us at Seven Kings station as it's already past midnight. huhu what an experience!

Alhamdulillah, from hubby's report, the kids all were fine. ada lah tanya2 ummi tapi under control.  Credit to hubby who had rented a Tinker Bell movie through our service provider, Virgin Media. All of them watched the movie two times during my me-time. :P And guess what, Zahin really loves the rental idea and she even asked me when will i go for next girls outing again. Boleh? hihihi bertuah tau dia ni..:)

Ps. the kids memang ok klu ummi not around, kalau ummi ada je semua manja mengada. :P 

Tinseltown

Assalamualaikum.

Tinseltown is American Diner restaurant and it has Halal certificates. It has several branches in London and one of it is in Gants Hill. Just 20 minutes away from our place. The first time we tried this restaurant was the one at Bayswater with hubby's cousin, Abg. Nasri and Imran early last year. Then we really hoped to come again when ada rezeki. :)

So the second time we went there was to celebrate hubby's and Zahin's birthday in last September. Just the five of us, obviously. hehe. Since it's a delay story..so i can't remember much what name of the meals. :P But we had a blast. The meals were super yummilicious until kids can't get enough of it, especially their special milkshake drinks..berhantu hokey!! :D

Anyway, happy birthday 31st and 6th o you both Darlings!! Best wishes and prayers always..amin!! Ummi, Iris and Zafri always love you. Mmuaahhh! :)

Iris 4th Birthday

Assalamualaikum

Alhamdulillah, our beloved daughter had turned 4 years old three days ago on Feb 16.

Since Feb 16 was on saturday, we went dine out on her birthday eve to avoid crowds. We chose to eat at Indigo restaurant, an Indian Muslim's at Westfield Stratford City.

We love the open ambience as it is situated in the middle of International Food Court in Level 1. We ate while looking at stylish shoppers. ;D

It was our second time visiting the restaurant and we had ordered two plates of plain rice with creamy buttered chicken curry, buttered Naan and Falafel wrapped. It was yum-yum..! Alhamdulillah.

Then, we had to separate as Ummi wanted to do some window-shopping ;p Babah brought the kids who wanted to play at Mothercare's play area..

After window-shopping, i went into Paperchase shop where myself stucked in there almost an hour. Haha got crazy with all their stuffs, so cute, sweet and colourful and i ended up buying Iris's cute 4th birthday card which had a green dinosaur holds a bunch ofcolouful balloons on it and some stickers..for our reward system. :)

Next, on the way to find them i went to Buttercup Shop to buy a birthday cake. The shop specialized on various cupcakes but they have whole cakes as well. So i bought the Red Velvet cake for Iris's birthday. £34 ok, kopak ummi nasib bahek yummilicious..hehehee

So the next day on her birthday, the birthday girls dah tak sabar-sabar lagi nak potong kek. So we cut after breakfast time..but mandi siap2 and dressing up for photo session and at the sama time sype dgn Tok Mak, Tok bah and mok su Nani..tp sekejap ke sbb line tak elok..huhu..

Afterwards, lepak-lepak je kat rumah tetiba Mummy Na call nak datang sebab nak visit ummi..Ummi kan tak sihat seminggu..demam panas sampai bengkak leher, sakit tekak, batuk selsema dan sakit kepala, complete package tok leh mkn dan minum which resulted to loss weight..bwh 50kg..suka mak!! Haha ssh skrg nak dpt bwh 50kg tp kjp je tu..nti skjp je naik blk surely! Nak2 dah sihat sepenuhnya nti. Huhu..

So Mummy Na and aunty Ibah sekeluarga did visit us after Maghrib. Mummy Na siap bawak sup ekor lagi and seperti biasa specialty Mummy Na..goreng mee kat rumah ktrg! Panas2 makan time sejuk winter ni sgt mabeles ok..hehe. I just prepared plain rice, ayam grg rempah and sayur kangkung msk cili and kicap berlada which was sesuai la lawan sup ekor. ;D

Then we just had a nice chit-chat until 12am..esk sunday org tak keje kn..;) and dapat jugalah merasakan Mummy Na and aunty Ibah sekeluarga Red Velvet cake Iris tu. alhamdulillah..that's all. Meriah jg la sbb sebelum tu along Zahin kata boringla birthday angah sbb tak de org datang. Hehe bertuah kan..

This year we purposely did not invite anyone like in previous year because this year we plan to make birthday gathering for along Zahin instead. She will be 7 years old in September. Because last year, we did not do for her, just dine out at Tinseltown's. (tak smpt update, later la ;p)

anway, Taking turns is important to save our financial budget. Hehe afterall we want to save for our Europe holiday during Easter Break in early April. In shaa Allah will share the destinations later2 la hehe.

Lil Hero 1st Birthday

Salam

Someone turns 1 year old today. He seemed knew that today was his special day, he woke up very early in the morning but quite grumpy though. I was a lil bit surprised but i tried to let go my pillow and attended straightly to him. Nway, He's the king today, the demanded one apparently! hehehe.

Since ummi still tired from the long vacation, ummi decided not to bake any cakes or celebrated at home so babah simply took us to KFC! KFC je lapon yg byk halal, pizza hut ke Nando's ke tak dapek la. Just only us. :)

Afterwards, we went to K. Ibah and Mummy Na's house to give some Belgian chocs..and lepaking for few hours at Mummy Na's for solat Asr and Maghrib and also had dinner togetrher. Mummy Na buat mee hailam and kebetulan her kids buat strawberry cupcakes for school holidays project. Yummy...mmg rezeki Zafri n kami jgk..haha..Lepas tu, ktrg singgah Tesco to buy some groceries before going home. Then, we treat bday boy sumthing..;)

Party Fiesta

While we were hunting for Iris's present  for her 3rd Bday at Westfield Stratford City, we suddenly tumbled upon this shop called Party Fiesta. With the star shaped entrance, it is not too hard to be visibled at least to me. Hee I can't help to go inside and to see what it has in there. 

Since that was the first time i visit a party shop, i kinda crazy looking at all the variety choice of party stuffs. Seriously I felt like buying all of them. They got variety themes from Mickey Mouse to Smurfs. So cute! Too bad i cant spend at any since Iris wanted hers to be a princess theme. So what i bought were just a princess table cloth, a princess tiara and yummilicious lollipops. ;) 

I definitely want to visit it again. The price is affordable and the location is strategic plus it is in the same floor with Mothercare, Lego City, Primark, food court (kfc, mcD, halal subway etc) and to name a few. 

Eventually, we just bought a set of four story books from Disney princess for our bday girl. But, we had a plan to treat her something else since she could not read yet. But what was it, i'll update in the next post. Insya Allah.

Iris 3rd Birthday

Alhamdulillah, our beloved and beautiful princess, Iris has turned to three years old on last thursday (Feb 16, 2012). Since it was during weekdays, we held a birthday bash cum our first housewarming on last saturday. Actually, we already planned it a week earlier and had invited some guests. It's our turn to host Yassin recitation though so it's was a right time to celebrate Iris's birthday atogetrher. ;) Even we were unwell on her special day because of food poisoning after dining out on her special day, we were glad that we didn't put this event off because we don't want to dissappoint our Bday girl. Berkali2 jg mtk hubby tangguhkan, tapi hubby kata teruskan je la sbb dah last minute. Hubby was right..nasib baik klu tak mmg kesian Iris..sbb dia dah tak sbr nk tgu kawan2 dtg nyanyikan bday song utk dia. :)

Nway, It turned out very well with all the help and support from our Msian friends who lives nearby. At first, i planned to make cupcakes and karipap, but i didn't manage to make either due to vomitting and dierhea :( But, i was surprised that Kak Ana cooked Nasi Biryani special besides Sup Tulang which i already being told when she showed up that day. hehe.Then Kak Ibah who sponsored the birthday cake also made a tuna cheese pasta. :) Afterwards, one by one guests brought along various food including yummilicious and beautiful deco cakes. So macam2 ada! :D Tuan rumah cuma masak nasi, goreng ayam (rempah resepi Yus.) ;) dan hot n cold drink. tu jer..huhu. Apapun Thank you so much on behalf of hubby to all of you, who did not only help, brought scrumptious potlucks but also bought  presents for our birthday girl! Iris's was over the moon to get quite a number of barbie dolls. ;) Hanya Allah yang dapat membalas jasa dan budi baik kalian. May Allah bless you...:)

:) She really had a blast that day. When we asked if she's happy or not, she said yes and beamed. Alhamdulillah.

Last but not least, We love you so much Iris. You will always be our dearest baby girl. :) Happy 3rd birthday again darling and many more to come..insya Allah. Tunggu ummi habis semester 2 ni, kita potty-train pelan2 k. Bulan 9 angah dah nk sekolah...mst cute pegi sekolah sama2 dgn along. :)
