Persediaan Travel Musim Sejuk

Assalamualaikum

Syukur sangat bila Babah whatsapp beliau dah selamat sampai di London dari Amsterdam. Fuh, lega dengar! Masa lost contact, asyik berdebar je jantung Mummy nihh. :(

Oleh kerana Babah dah pon selamat sampai London awal pagi maka keadaan sekeliling masih gelap lagi. Sekarang di sana tengah musim Winter, hari lambat siang dan cuaca pula sejuk di bawah 10 darjah celcius. Huhu Mummy pon masih teringat-ingat lagi sejuknya tuhh.

Minggu depan ni diramalkan lebih sejuk lagi, kebarangkalian untuk turun snow pon ada. Huhu rindunya nak main snow! Kalau snow turun memang rezeki babah :)

Apapun diharapkan Babah tak lupa untuk makan vit c supplemen yang dibawanya. Orang lelaki bab supplemen ni kalau kita tak ingatkan memang mudah lupalah jawabnya. Hehe.

Since Babah pergi time Winter, maka 2 minggu sebelum berangkat kami sudah mula buat persediaan. Pertama buat Checklist. Checklist Babah lain dan lebih panjang sbb termasuk hal viva PhD nya.

Tapi Di bawah ini antara checklist Mummy utk Babah:

1. Pengambilan vitamin c setiap hari untuk meningkatkan daya ketahanan diri dan prevent daripada selsema.

2. Packing pakaian seperti long john, jumper/sweater, coat, winter jacket, socks, snowcap dan gloves serta trainer/shoes yg sesuai. Mujur kebanyakannya masih elok dan dibawa balik Malaysia. So jimat. Cuma Babah perlu membeli boot atau shoe lain sekiranya snow turun semasa beliau di sana.

3. Ubat-ubatan. Since Babah juga ada athma maka Mummy make sure beliau tidak tertinggal inhaler nya.

4. Travel light. Since Babah pergi sorang so senang la. Lagipon orang lelaki tak kisah nak bawa banyak2 baju macam kita kan. Hee.

5. Winter Sale!! Haha ni bahaya..kene pandai kawal nafsu ye. beli yg perlu sahaja dan kalau lebih murah daripada harga di sini. Hehee.

Babah ZiZ nie boleh tahan kemurahan hati beliau..silap haribulan memang dia shopping sakan nanti. :D

Zahin and Iris plak dah pandai demand..siap diorang send pic lagi barang yg diorang nak kt babah thru whatsapp. Zafri pon nak 'car'. Haih la anak2..

Mummy kirim tak? Hehe off course lah Kiki..tapi in shaa Allah brg ringan je. En husband kata nak bagi hadiah, hah yang tu lain..hehe ;P

Ps. Lain orang lain persediaannya kan. Ini cuma pengalaman mummy yang sama2 buat persediaan untuk babah sebelum berangkat ke London haritu. ;)

Some Breastfeeding Tips

Assalamualaikum


Here are some breastfeeding tips that i would like to share from my experience:


1. Set your goal and start with a good intention like to breastfeed your baby until two years old..as stated in the holy book, Al-Quran.

2. Be positive, be strong especially mentally. Never ever give up. Get fully support from your other half.

3. Read a lot about breastmilk and breastfeeding. Join Susuibu.com and Babycenter.co.uk website to get many tips and information.

4. Buy a good breastpump and do a lot of pumping and direct breastfeeding whenever your baby demands to produce more milk.

5. Try and error food until you find the milk booster. (Like me, rice, fish, dates, milk, milo, sayur sawi and tauge are the booster. ;))

6. Take booster supplements too. I used to take esp, alfalfa from Shaklee.

7. Wear nursing bra and tops for easy breastfeeding anytime and anywhere..

8. Get a nursing pillow and nursing cover. For me i only use my jacket or baby;s blanket to cover the aurah.

9. Pray to be istiqomah, be happy and tawakkal.

I really miss breastfeeding, i do! I could not forget the moment of nursing my baby any time and anywhere i go. So precious! And the most heavenly is I could also eat as much as I could without worrying about gaining weight and no need to get up from bed to make milk during night time. What a bliss! ;)


Since I've stopped breastfeeding six weeks ago, i've gained weight! Huwaa..me no likey! I had not gotten use with any diet/exercise while i was breastfeeding so i guess i better start doing it now. Huhu.

Once i stopped breastfeeding zafri, hubby had to put him on sleep at night during the first week. When he woke up in the middle of night and cried for milk, I reminded him that my B's 'bleeding' ( i put the red food colouring ;)) he quickly understood and just slept in my arms. It was so emotional seeing him at that time but i had to..:( 

But now he sleeps through the night with me without tugging my shirt anymore, i guess he just and still wants to be close to me. Actually all my kids are still 'berebut' to sleep in my arms. Hehe We have a special bonding, me likey! Alhamdulillah..^^

Zafri's not actually a picky eater so it helps alot at the beginning..I just gave him any food and drinks or activities to distract him from breastfeeding. It worked! hehe. But lately, he ate less but play more..He's very very active hence he's getting slim now. huhu. But as long as he's happy and healthy..i'm not too worried.

Anyway, with Allah's permission and like other mommies out there who are breastfeeding (We're in the same boat), I'm so greatful that all this while I have been given a strong-will and being steadfast to breastfeed all my children. Alhamdulillah..(Zahin until 2 years old and half, Iris until 1 year and 10 months old and Zafri's almost 2 years old and half). Though it's very challenging journey but it's the most beautiful and precious journey that I will treasure forever..Subhanallah..!


I would like to thank hubby for all his endless love and support too. Alhamdulillah. Thank you Sayang!! You're so wonderful husband and dad! We love you so much!! ;)

To Zahin, Iris and Zafri, ummi and babah love you very very much. :) And I've tried my best to give all of you the best milk which is breastmilk. It's not expensive, we saved alot though..Alhamdulillah..Hopefully, you will grow up healthily, wisely and beautifully. Also may Allay always protect, bless and guide all of you to the right path. Amin ya rabbal alamin..

5 Tips Untuk Menjadi Isteri Yang Sihat, Bijak dan Cantik

Salam

Saje nak share tips by Prof. Dr. Muhaya kt sini. I'm sure ramai yg kenal Prof. dan dah dengar tips ni kan. ;) But Still i would like to share them in this blog as a reminder for me, or for my kids in the future.. (padahal dh tade idea lain nak update blog :P)

The tips are:-

1. Kene pandai jaga kesihatan fizikal.

Bersenam dan makan vitamin.

2. kene pandai jaga kesihatan mental

Beli dan baca buku-buku ilmiah dan motivasi. Tengok rancangan tv yg baik untuk minda.

3. Jaga hubungan dengan Allah

Jaga aurat, solat dan puasa jangan tinggal.

4. Jaga hubungan dengan manusia.

Esp. dgn suami. Jaga hati, mata, hidung dan telinga dia. Less invest on perhiasan eg. hbag branded mahal etc. Lama2 tengok jemu katanya. Tapi if invest more on keperluan eg. facial treatment, teeth treatment (floss) n etc. (spy suami tgk tak jemu2..:P)

5. Kene pandai jaga kewangan

Kene plan kewangan keluarga, budget for 10, 20, 30 yrs after married. Prof. kata sebelum kahwin boleh plan/budget untuk wedding reception etc, inikan pula bila dah berumah-tangga.

Huhu sgt terkesan di hati lepas tgk ceramah Prof. ni kat youtube..tp insyaAllah let's try our best k. ;)

Harini dah hari ke 21 Ramadhan. How's your Tadarus progress? :) Mine, masih di juzuk 18. Lagging behind sket sbb first week lg ummi dah 'raya'. hehe. Mudah-mudahan sempat nak catch up while busy with other matters.

InsyaAllah sama-sama kita berazam untuk khatam 30 juzuk Al-Quran by end of this baraqah Ramadhan k. Amin. Also, semoga kita dipertemukan dgn malam Lailatul Qadar pada 10 malam terakhir ni. (Sedihnya..)
